[Monkey] Strange log output in access log

Hello everyone,

I detected a strange output in the access log of monkey - this looks like this:

192.168.1.1 - [13/Jan/2012 07:29:09 +0100] GET / HTTP/1.0 200 3
192.168.1.2^@<C1><A4>[13/Jan/2012 07:34:04 +0100] GET /path/bigfile.zip HTTP/1.0 206 991664718
192.168.1.3 - [13/Jan/2012 07:35:04 +0100] GET /path/bigfile.zip HTTP/1.0 206 991664718

Those lines with ^@<C1><A4> occure irregulary and also exist in several editors (I tried nano, vi, vim, scite and also less/more).

Do you have those outputs, too? Looks like a malformed newline control signal inside the application.

It's not a big deal to delete that output with grep - but if you analyze your statistics with a automatic script, you might get wrong data.
